Frijns to replace Kobayashi for Silverstone FP1
1 July 2014 – Caterham reserve Robin Frijns will get his second practice outing of the season at the British Grand Prix.
The Dutchman, who completed his first official session in Bahrain, will take over Kamui Kobayashi's car for the opening 90-minute outing at Silverstone, before handing it back to its regular occupant in the afternoon.
"I'm back in the 2014 car for the first time since Bahrain and excited about getting back in the cockpit and helping us
make some progress again, and seeing how the car has developed since early April," Frijns explained.
Frijns, the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 title winner, is not racing alongside his F1 duties this season.
