Mercedes drivers tie in Hockenheim poll
18 July 2014 – Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton tied for votes in the German Grand Prix poll.
Rosberg currently leads Hamilton – who won last time out at Silverstone – by four points in the championship standings, and the pair both took 34 per cent shares in the latest GPUpdate.net readers' prediction.
Ferrari team-mates Fernando Alonso (seven per cent) and Kimi Räikkönen (five) were next, just ahead of Valtteri Bottas (four) and a clutch of drivers on three per cent – Felipe Massa, Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel.
Jenson Button and Sergio Pérez finished on two per cent each, with team-mates Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg taking one per cent. The remaining one per cent voted for drivers outside of the top 12.
Friday's opening practice session at Hockenheim gets underway at 10am local time (GMT +2)
