Ferrari dismiss reports Fry has been sacked
29 July 2014 – Ferrari has refuted claims that it has parted company with Engineering Director, Pat Fry.
According to Sky Sports, Fry has become the latest high-profile casualty of a reshuffle and, despite the Scuderia's denial, the report quotes "sources" as insisting the 50-year-old has been let go.
Ferrari has endured a torrid year so far, with Team Principal Stefano Domenicali resigning back in April, while it is also understood that engine guru Luca Marmorini was sacked earlier this month.
New Ferrari boss Marco Mattiacci said recently that he was preparing a "different" outfit for the 2015 season and, while he was vague on what that meant, it seems those changes might not include the involvement of Fry.
