Renault to unveil 2017 car on February 21
6 January 2017 – Renault will unveil its 2017 Formula 1 challenger on February 21, the team confirmed on Friday.
Renault returned to the sport as a manufacturer in 2016 but classified a lowly ninth in the standings, ahead of only Sauber and Manor.
The team has ramped up recruitment at its Enstone factory, and has acquired Nico Hülkenberg to partner incumbent Jolyon Palmer, who will embark on his sophomore season with Renault.
Renault, whose location for the launch has not yet been announced, is the fourth team to confirm plans for the unveiling of its 2017 car.
Force India and Mercedes will follow suit at Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, on successive days after Renault's launch.
Ferrari will then unveil its 2017 challenger a day later at Fiorano.
Pre-season testing will begin at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 27.
