Because both Williams drivers Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya were disqualified just like Toyota drivers Panis and Da Matta both Jordan drivers scored points for their team. Timo Glock was able to score two points, while team mate Heidfeld scored one point for the Silverstone based team.
Heidfeld scored his first points for Jordan in Monaco. With a seventh place the German pulled in the first two points for the Jordan team. In Montreal yesterday he scored another point when Ralf Schumacher, Montoya and Da Matta, who finished all in front of him, got disqualified. "I am really happy for the team. We have been making steady progress so it's great to be rewarded with Championship points. I'm happy for Timo, scoring points in his first race and just a little frustrated because I think I could have scored even more! Anyway, it's a great result in the end and a good boost for everybody."
