On Tuesday evening London was turned up side down to host a special London Grand Prix. Eight Formula One teams brought their cars to the centre of London to show the action to thousands of Formula One fans.
Around 30,000 fans came to watch the Formula One action and they were able to get closer to the action than at any F1 race. Jordan drivers Timo Glock and Giorgio Pantano were signing autographs while British hero Nigel Mansell tried the EJ14 out on the street track in London.
Among Mansell were ITV presenter Martin Brundle in a Jaguar, Luca Badoer with a Ferrari, Cristiano da Matta driving the Toyota, Jenson Button in the BAR, Juan Pablo Montoya in the Williams, David Coulthard in a McLaren and Minardi driver Zsolt Baumgartner drove around a guest in the Minardi 2-seater.
