Spaniard Garcia made Formula One debut

On Saturday Spanish F3 champion Borja Garcia made his Formula One debut at the French track Paul Ricard. Toyota Spain made it possible for the Spaniard to test the Toyota F1 car.


Garcia is part of the Toyota drivers development program and will be racing this season in the new GP2 series. This coming weekend the GP2 will start his season at Imola.

Garcia completed 47 laps at Paul Ricard and his fastest lap time was 1.08.362.
