On Friday Channoch Nissany made his Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend debut at the Hungaroring. The 42-year old Israeli completed eight laps in the first free practice session and spun the car. Minardi was unable to prepare the car in time before the end of the second session. He didn't make many friends though… "He doesn't belong in Formula 1," said Nick Heidfeld.
"Someone that is as slow as Nissany shouldn't be in a Formula One car. He is a big risk out there (on track) and he can be a danger to the others," Heidfeld commented on Nissany's debut. It was probably the first and only time Nissany will be active in an official Grand Prix weekend.
Nissany's fastest lap time was 13 seconds slower than quickest man Ricardo Zon
