Maxime Jousse, brother of Formula 2 driver Julien, is currently set to pick up a 100,000 pound F2 scholarship as he leads the Formula Palmer Audi (FPA) championship at two thirds distance.
Having clinched six of the nine races so far in 2010, Jousse has impressed in his second FPA season by crossing the line in front of the pack twice at Brands Hatch, three times at Snetterton and then again at Oulton Park.
Maxime is currently on top with 197 points, just under 60 ahead of Nigel Moore.
At the conclusion of the FPA season, the top six drivers will all receive bonus outings in a Formula 2 car; 12 drivers are still able to earn the test drive.
