Like KV Racing and Takuma Sato in America’s IndyCar Series, the Litespeed squad will be running a Lotus Formula 1-like livery in British Formula 3, starting with this weekend’s meeting at Rockingham.
With Rockingham’s test session marking the end of 6-week break since the championship was last in action at Hockenheim, Litespeed has made the most of the available time and unveiled its ‘Lotus Junior’ colour scheme on Friday.
“The new identity underlines the Litespeed F3 link with Lotus Racing as part of the team’s driver development ladder,” said Litespeed Team Principal Nino Judge, with Lotus keeping a lookout for up-.and-coming talent.
