Buller joins Fortec for 2011 season

30 September 2010

It has been confirmed that Britain’s William Buller will be switching from Hitech to the Fortec team for next season’s British Formula 3 Championship, having ended 2010 eighth in the overall standings.

After turning 18 earlier this month, Buller completed his season with a strong second place at Silverstone on Sunday and the Northern Irishman now looks forward to another full campaign in 2011, with the new Fortec deal also including the prestigious Macau Grand Prix and Korean Superprix in November.

“We had several offers on the table but this is the right decision for me,” Will commented.

“The Fortec car is very competitive and I have a good relationship with all the guys on the team. I have learned a lot this year and we are now in a good situation to plan our title bid for next year.”

“I am really pleased to have Will back with us at Fortec,” team owner Richard Dutton added. “He is a true racer with excellent car control and certainly will be a championship contender next year.”
