Formula BMW Europe runner-up Jack Harvey, who will be stepping up to British Formula 3 with Carlin next season, enjoyed his first taste of the car as Rockingham conducted a test session on Monday.
While Harvey experimented with British F3 for the first time, 2010 National Class Champion Menasheh Idafar enjoyed his first outing in International Class machinery as he and T-Sport team-mate James Cole joined a selection of other drivers at the Northamptonshire track.
With the in-season testing ban now lifted, Idafar drove the T-Sport Dallara-Volkswagen whereas Cole was powered by a Mercedes engine in the Räikkönen Robertson car, which was also driven by Indonesia’s Rio Haryanto.
