Excited Buller aiming for Macau podium

17 November 2010

Northern Ireland’s William Buller is delighted to be back at Macau for this weekend’s annual and prestigious Formula 3 event. Set to drive for Fortec in British F3 next year, the race will be the 18-year-old’s first in the car after winning at the legendary venue in Formula BMW last year.

Following Macau, Buller will prepare for BF3 winter testing prior to lining up alongside fellow British driver Oliver Webb and Brazil’s Lucas Foresti next season.

“It’s great to be back in Macau and I have some fantastic memories after winning here last year,” commented the man from Scarva, County Down.

“This will be my first F3 race with Fortec, which I’m really looking forward to, and I’m going into the weekend on the back of a really good testing programme with them over the past few months.

“The line-up for the F3 race is strong this season and some of the drivers are coming back for a third or fourth year, but I think my victory in the Formula BMW race last year has put me in a good position to try and fight for a place on the podium.

“I can’t wait to get on-track and get down to business!”
