It has been confirmed that The Netherlands’ Nigel Melker will be competing in both GP3 and the Formula 3 Euro Series for the 2011 season, with Mücke Motorsport having signed a dual contract with the 19-year-old from Rotterdam.
With his Euro Series deal now set in stone, Melker will be remaining with the Berlin-based squad following a difficult maiden campaign in the Formula 1 feeder series.
“We are looking forward to contesting both the GP3 Series and the Formula 3 Euro Series with Nigel,” Team Principal Peter Mücke commented.
“Nigel will gather a lot of experiences that will prove to be beneficial for both him as a driver and our team. We hope for being able to battle it out for the top positions with him."
