Nasr ends Rockingham test on top
2 March 2011 – Felipe Nasr continued to the lead the way on the second and final day of this week’s British Formula 3 test session at Rockingham. Behind the Carlin driver, whose best lap time was 1:10.586, team-mates Kevin Magnussen, Carlos Huertas and Rupert Svendsen-Cook rounded out the top four for Denmark, Columbia and Britain.
A further three tenths of a second quicker than 24 hours earlier, Nasr continued to establish an example at the top of the timesheets as fellow Brazilian Pietro Fantin ended the day as the only non-Carlin runner in the top five, driving for Hitech.
Jazeman Jaafar of Malaysia and Carlin ended the day sixth quickest ahead of four more British contenders: Riki Christodoulou for Hitech, 2010 Formula BMW Europe runner-up Jack Harvey for Carlin and Fortec Motorsport pairing Harry Tincknell and Will Buller.
British Formula 3 testing will continue at Silverstone on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week
