No excuses in second year, says Buller

No excuses in second year, says Buller

21 March 2011

Will Buller has happily stated that the early signing of his 2011 contract with Fortec has allowed for better preparation ahead of this year’s British Formula 3 season. However, the Northern Irishman also admits that there is no longer room for error.

“It has been beneficial, definitely,” said the 18-year-old from County Down. “I got to know the guys on the team and got used to working with my engineer and I’m sure some of the guys who have done deals late aren’t in the same position and are just getting to know people.

“I can’t wait to get into it really; I’ve prepared as well as I can and it’s been going quite well. It’s important to focus on your own programme and not worry about what other people are doing, although it’s always nice to be near the top of the times.

“I’m in my second year, so I know I should be strong in the championship so we’ll stick to our programme and see how we get on. The title is the only aim - it’s my second year, so there are no excuses.”
