Nasr tops practice at Snetterton
13 May 2011 – Felipe Nasr established himself at the top of the timesheets during both practice sessions at the new Snetterton 300 circuit on Friday. The Brazilian driver led the combined times by a margin of 0.348 seconds over Carlin team-mate Rupert Svendsen-Cook, while William Buller set the third fastest time of the day.
Pipo Derani ended his time behind the wheel in fourth place for Double R Racing, while Welshman Hywel Lloyd posted an effort just 14 thousandths slower than the São Paulo-born man. Carlin's Kevin Magnussen was next up in sixth, with the Dane looking to make up for a disappointing weekend at Oulton Park last time out.
Volkswagen-powered Pietro Fantin was net up in the first of the Hitech Racing machines, while Carlos Huertas claimed eighth after competing in the opening round of the Formula 3 International Trophy at Hockenheim a fortnight ago. Harry Tincknell did enough for ninth, while Australia's Scott Pye completed the top ten runners.
