British F3: Paul Ricard 2011: Sunday Race 3 results

Hitech’s António Félix da Costa has been handed a 30-second time penalty for his involvement in a last-lap accident with Kevin Magnussen at Paul Ricard this afternoon, meaning the Portuguese driver drops from second to ninth in the Race 3 classification.

Carlin driver Magnussen had led every lap of the race until the incident, holding a relatively comfortable gap back to Félix da Costa and team-mate Felipe Nasr, but the controversial  incident saw him drop down to 13th place after being unable to finish.

Magnussen was on course to make significant progress in the championship standings with the points on offer in this afternoon's 40-minute race, but instead remains in fifth on a total of 113, over 100 points behind team-mate and overall leader Nasr.
