Mücke's Felix Rosenqvist led the way in the only practice session for this weekend’s Formula 3 Euro Series rounds at Silverstone, which support the Le Mans Series at the Northamptonshire track. Behind the Swede, who was this year's Masters of F3 winner, Daniel Juncadella and Marco Wittmann completed the top three.
With Rosenqvist managing a best lap time of 1:54.464, Kimiya Sato’s fourth place confirmed four different teams in the leading quartet of places, with Carlos Munoz and Laurens Vanthoor helping to place six different driver nationalities in the top six.
Unusually, the session was red-flagged with five minutes to go as an advertising sign looked set to fall from a bridge and land on the track surface; thankfully, the hoarding was spotted by marshals before such a happening occurred.
