Coloni links up with Lauda Sport Management

10 September 2010

Scuderia Coloni has announced a new partnership with Lauda Sport Management, which will assist with retaining and attracting sponsors for the Italian squad. The deal will therefore allow Team Principal Paolo Coloni more time to deal with the sporting and technical aspects of the outfit.

The confirming of Lauda Sport Management is the second announcement this week by Coloni, which on Thursday confirmed that Brendon Hartley would be in the cockpit for the remaining four races of the GP2 season at Monza at Yas Marina.

“I’m really proud of this agreement, which sees two families with a great history in motorsport working together,” said Paulo Coloni. “When you say 'Lauda' everybody knows who you are talking about.

“We are happy to have the chance to make the most of their great knowledge and experience and we feel that this is something essential for us; we have the support of some very important sponsors and they deserve to have someone devoted to care about their needs.

"Furthermore, this agreement will surely help us to find even more backing for our commitment."
