Jules Bianchi has expressed his disappointment after losing a well deserved fourth place following Saturday’s sprint race in Abu Dhabi. The Lotus Art driver was penalised by stewards for ignoring yellow flags, the same punishment that was given to Charles Pic and Nathanael Berthon post-race.
"I am very disappointed, but all the same, I am pleased with my race pace," Bianchi commented after the sprint race in Abu Dhabi. "Grosjean and I came very close to touching in our fight, but I got the better of him. I gave it my all and managed to get past Valsecchi in the end to take fourth on the final lap."
Bianchi and the rest of the GP2 Asia Series field will be back in action when the teams visit Bahrain next weekend, with the event taking place from February 17-19.
