Aleshin rejoins Carlin for Hungary

28 July 2011

Russia’s Mikhail Aleshin, reigning World Series by Renault Champion, is back with Carlin for this weekend’s latest GP2 rounds at the Hungaroring. The 24-year-old replaces Álvaro Parente and therefore races alongside Britain’s Max Chilton.

“It’s a great opportunity for me to have this experience, so thanks to the team,” says the Moscow man. “I know the car, I know the team and it’s a track I know well, so I believe we can push for some good results this weekend.”

In last year’s World Series races at the Budapest track, Aleshin notched up respective finishes of second and third places.
