Aleshin rejoins Carlin for Hungary
28 July 2011 – Russia’s Mikhail Aleshin, reigning World Series by Renault Champion, is back with Carlin for this weekend’s latest GP2 rounds at the Hungaroring. The 24-year-old replaces Álvaro Parente and therefore races alongside Britain’s Max Chilton.
“It’s a great opportunity for me to have this experience, so thanks to the team,” says the Moscow man. “I know the car, I know the team and it’s a track I know well, so I believe we can push for some good results this weekend.”
In last year’s World Series races at the Budapest track, Aleshin notched up respective finishes of second and third places.
