A number of GP2 teams have confirmed their line-ups for next weekend’s text session at Jerez, with Trident announcing that Mercedes F1 reserve driver Sam Bird will spend a day with the team.
The two-day GP2 visit will be staged at the southern Spanish circuit from Wednesday, with Bird returning for a test with Trident. His 2010 team iSport has announced that its drivers will be Jolyon Palmer and Carlos Iaconelli for Day 1, with Tom Dillmann and Nathanael Berthon stepping into the cockpit for Day 2.
Palmer will then switch to the Addax garage on Thursday, with Dutchman Nigel Melker confirmed with Arden.
