Racing Engineering has revealed its line-up for next weekend’s GP2 test session in Barcelona, which will be staged across Wednesday and Thursday. In the cockpit will be GP2 regular Fabio Leimer of Switzerland and France’s Nathanaël Berthon, who suffered a large Formula Renault 3.5 accident at the track just five days ago.
The Circuit de Catalunya test will come a fortnight after the most recent GP2 post-season meeting at Jerez and precedes the new Abu Dhabi finale races which will run alongside the Formula 1 event at Yas Marina.
Leimer remains with Racing Engineering, with whom he set the pace at Jerez, whereas Berthon returns to the outfit with which he contested the GP2 Asia Series.
