8 November 2011

Christian Horner’s Arden team has announced that it will run Josef Král and Simon Trummer in this weekend’s inaugural GP2 Final. Czech Král therefore remains with the squad with which he contested this year’s championship, whereas Switzerland’s Trummer climbs the ladder from a season in GP3 and is therefore eligible for prize money as the highest-placed GP3 driver to finish the race.

“I am very happy to be back in the team where I raced all season,” Král begins. “I hope that we can build on the experience what we gained throughout the season and hopefully turn in to some good results in Abu Dhabi.”

Trummer, who tested with Arden in Barcelona on 20 October, is particularly excited about this weekend’s event at Yas Marina.

“It is definitely my season highlight to race with such a great team as Arden in Abu Dhabi!” he proclaims. “I'm so happy that I have this chance! After a great test, I feel really comfortable with the car and in the team. I feel like I have raced for them all my career, so I will give my best for do a good job and I hope we will are successful!”
