Campana lands GP2 seat for Monza
5 September 2013 – Sergio Campana will make his GP2 debut with Trident at this weekend's Monza event.
The 27-year-old Italian, who is fighting for the Auto GP title, will be the third occupant of the team's second seat this season, and is to partner Frenchman Nathanaël Berthon.
"Being at Monza during the Italian Grand Prix is a goal I've pursued before," began Campana. "This year the dream came true with Trident. It will all be new for me, as in the past I only had the chance to do a few laps in an old GP2 car without Pirelli tyres.
"I know it will not be easy but I know the track well, so this is an element in my favour."
Kevin Ceccon began the term for Trident, before Ricardo Teixeira took over in Hungary.
