Trummer penalised for Coletti clash
23 May 2014 – Simon Trummer has been penalised by the stewards for his part in a collision with Stefano Coletti during Friday's GP2 Feature Race in Monaco.
Rapax driver Trummer and Racing Engineering's Coletti went side-by-side heading into the final corner, but they collided and retired on the spot.
Having reviewed the footage, the stewarding panel deemed that Trummer, on the outside of the track, was at fault for not leaving enough room.
The stewards also penalised Arden driver René Binder for his clash with Russian Time's Artem Markelov at the Nouvelle Chicane.
Both Trummer and Binder will drop dive places on the grid for Saturday's Sprint Race.
