Britain’s Justin Wilson has registered the quickest lap time in the final practice session before qualifying on the streets of Toronto. The Dreyer & Reinbold driver recorded a best effort of 1:01.183, almost three tenths of a second faster than second-placed man E.J. Viso, with quickest Friday driver Ryan-Hunter Reay in third.
Having been the second quickest on Friday, Wilson moved up a spot on Saturday as Viso overhauled the Penske of Helio Castroneves in the final minutes.
Behind, the Ryan Briscoe’s Penske also lost position as Tony Kanaan and Andretti Autosport finished fifth on the timesheets and reigning Champion Dario Franchitti managed tenth for Target Chip Ganassi, one place behind current championship leader Will Power heading into qualifying.
Qualifying begins at 12:50 local time (BST -5)
