DRR confirms Tracy for Kentucky and Motegi

1 September 2010

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has confirmed that Canada’s Paul Tracy will be competing with the outfit for the upcoming IndyCar Series rounds at the Kentucky Speedway and the Japanese meeting at Motegi.

Piloting the #24 Motegi Racing Wheels entry, Tracy will be the latest replacement for the recovering Mike Conway following the Englishman’s shocking Indianapolis 500 crash back in May.

“It's great to be back with the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing again this year,” said Paul, who is now in his 20th season of racing.

“I'm excited to have the opportunity to run some ovals with the team - it's been a while since I've raced on an oval but I'm ready for the challenge with the next two races plus I have some experience in Japan.

“Many thanks to Robbie & Dennis again for welcoming me to their team. Motegi Racing Wheels also deserves a big thanks for sticking by me. I'm also looking forward to working with Justin (Wilson) again.”
