It has been confirmed by the Dreyer & Reinbold team that Ana Beatriz will be back in the cockpit for this weekend’s season finale at Homestead, Miami, as the final replacement for the injured but recovering Mike Conway.
With Conway having crashed heavily in the Indianapolis 500 back in May, a selection of drivers have since replaced the Englishman although it is now official that 25-year-old Brazilian Beatriz will remain at the squad in the #24 car.
“All is going well and I've healed up nicely,” Conway is quoted as saying by the IndyStar of his lower leg and back injuries.
“Obviously, it's an ongoing process. I'm just keeping on with my rehabbing, so when I get in the car I will be as good as I can be.”
