Patrick to drive in twelve NASCAR races

It has been confirmed that Andretti Autosport IndyCar Series driver Danica Patrick will also be taking part in twelve NASCAR events this year.

On top of her 17-race schedule with Michael Andretti’s team, the 28-year-old will also be on-track with JR Motorsports, it was announced on Wednesday.

Patrick’s first 2011 NASCAR race will be at Daytona next Saturday, with the twelfth and final event being the Homestead-Miami finale on 19 November.
