Major express logistics company DHL has announced a multi-year deal with Andretti Autosport, meaning Ryan Hunter-Reay will be sporting the vibrant logo of the German-based business from the 2011 season onwards. The red and yellow colours will also be featured on Mike Conway’s car, as the Briton makes a return with the team after his violent crash at the Indianapolis 500 almost nine months ago.
"It's outstanding news for the team and me," Hunter-Reay commented after the agreement with DHL was announced. "It's a multi-year deal, which is great for all of us, and there's a lot planned for this partnership."
Hunter-Reay went on to talk about his chances in the upcoming season, as he enters his second campaign with the Andretti Autosport squad. After finishing seventh in the championship last year, the Texas-born driver will be looking to build on his most successful IndyCar season to date, including a win at Long Beach in California.
"We're heading in the right direction, things are becoming extremely healthy and consistent. You can feel the momentum in every track we go to and you can feel it throughout the team, too. It's a great time to be in IndyCar."
