Castroneves wanting fourth win on 500 centenary
31 March 2011 – Helio Castroneves is targeting a fourth Indianapolis 500 victory as the legendary event celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Having first achieved double successes at The Brickyard in 2001 and 2002, the Brazilian repeated the feat in 2009.
“Wow, it will be a combination they'll all talk about, the 100th with a great ending and I hope we'll make it happen,” the Penske driver told Reuters in New York, “just to be in the historic moment - it's a big deal, whether you’re a fan or you tell your kids, 'I was there'.
“I have the car, I have the team, I’ve done it three times; so I know what I need to do.”
