Pippa Mann will no longer take part in Sunday's race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway, being forced to withdraw from the event following a nasty practice crash.
The Briton was making her first appearance in the series since her Indy500 outing back in May, but slid heavily into the wall during the final practice session of the weekend, later requiring assistance to be extracted from her Rahal Letterman Lanigan car.
Mann had a CT scan at the nearby Concord Hospital as a precaution, but the results came back clear and she is now set to travel to Indianapolis for further medical checks.
