Bell to contest final two IndyCar races

23 September 2011

Townsend Bell will take part in the final two IndyCar races this season, stepping into the #22 Dreyer & Reinbold Racing machine in Kentucky and Las Vegas. The American will be the final replacement for the injured Justin Wilson in 2011, having got back up to speed during a Kentucky Speedway test on Friday.

"Especially after a promising run not fully realized at Indy it's hard to sit and not have a chance to come back out and keep improving, so this is really exciting to be back with Dreyer & Reinbold," said Bell, who took part in seven races for the squad back in 2008.

"This is a great group of guys and I've been impressed with how hard they've worked in what is the final era of this car and to make big investments in resources to continually improve right up to the end in Vegas."
