IndyCar will hold a public memorial service for Dan Wheldon at 4pm (ET) this Sunday, 23 October, at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Doors will open at 2:30pm.
The service will be broadcast live on the official IndyCar website as well as television network Versus and will follow a separate public service in the city hall of St. Petersburg, Englishman Wheldon’s adopted home, on Thursday.
The Dan Wheldon Family Trust Fund has also been established for the financial security of Wheldon’s family. Any public can make contributions to:
