Bourdais makes KV switch for 2014
17 October 2013 – Sébastien Bourdais will switch to KV Racing for the 2014 IndyCar campaign, having put pen to paper on a two-year agreement. The 34-year-old Frenchman, who currently drives for the Dragon Racing squad, replaces the Ganassi-bound Tony Kanaan.
"The fact that I have an agreement so early, and that I have a two-year contract, shows the team's commitment to their new era in IndyCar," explained Bourdais. "I am looking forward to meeting the crew and getting started with testing as soon as possible."
"I have raced against Sébastien and can say without a doubt that he is an exceptional driver," added Jimmy Vasser, who serves as team boss with Kevin Kalkhoven and new addition James Sullivan. "We look forward to winning a lot of races with him."
Bourdais concluded by wishing Dragon Racing "the best of luck" for future seasons.
