Ex Formula 1 driver Christijan Albers is one of the drivers who spearheads the Kolles team's combination ahead of this year's Le Mans 24 Hours. The Dutch driver will be joined by Christian Bakkerud, Christophe Bouchet, Manuel Rodrigues, Scott Tucker and Britain's Oliver Jarvis.
The Albers-Bakkerud partnership is renewed in 2010, as the Dutchman and Dane also drove alongside each other in last year's Le Mans Series, racing to ninth overall in the legendary French event. Cambridgeshire's Jarvis, an Audi driver in German Touring Car series the DTM, will be driving after expressing an interest.
"We had a great result with Christijan Albers and Christian Bakkerud in the Le Mans Series last year and on our debut at Le Mans," team owner Collin Kolles began.
"Oliver Jarvis ran for our team in Okayama and finished, together with Bakkerud, in an excellent third position. Having a 2-time Le Mans winner like Christophe Bouchut is also a great incitement for our team. Manuel Rodrigues and Scott Tucker are experienced drivers who come from the FIA GT series and ALMS.
"All in all, we have a strong team and our aim is to equal the great results from last year, when we finished in seventh and ninth positions. We are all looking forward to the race at Le Mans and working hard to a make a step forward and overcome last year's achievements."
