Aleix Espargaró continues to recover following a recent operation to correct issues with his left forearm. The Catalan rider is expected to return to training in due course as his compartment syndrome case has now been rectified.
With his training programme hoped to be normalised in the coming weeks, Pramac's Espargaró - who has been suffering from constant pain - is recovering for the time being, with the same operation having been carried out on his left forearm during the autumn.
With the procedure directed by Doctor Ángel Villamor, 20-year-old Espargaró was able to have the operation with only local anaesthetic in use.
