Melandri to miss Dutch TT

It has been confirmed that Honda Gresini man Marco Melandri will not take part in this weekend’s Dutch TT at Assen following his crash in practice on Friday.

Having suffered from a spectacular high-side, Melandri dislocated his left shoulder at new Ruskenhoek section of the circuit after losing control on the rumble strips.

Submitted to the circuit medical centre for checks, it is now official that Marco becomes the second absent Italian from the grid, after Valentino Rossi.
