Capirossi yearning for 100th podium

A first podium of the season would confirm the 100th rostrum result for Loris Capirossi in MotoGP, with the Italian now beginning first practice at Losail.

“Unfortunately, these last days of testing did not go as hoped, but I think that we can improve and get good results,” said the Pramac rider.

“We know we can be competitive and I can't wait to be able to show it on the track. My goal is simple: get number 100 on the podium - I'm at 99, so the goal is not so far away.”
