Rossi and Hayden to sample 2012 Ducati

Ducati is poised to run its new, 2012-specification Desmosedici GP12 at Jerez in the hands of Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayen, following a shakedown for the company’s latest MotoGP model on Thursday.


The race riders will both be testing the bike, with the initial outing have been described as ‘positive’ by testers Franco Battaini and Vittoriano Guareschi.

Once Rossi and Hayden step in, the project will be overseen by a larger team of personnel led by Technical Director Filippo Preziosi.
