Loris Capirossi will be back in action for the German MotoGP at the Sachsenring next weekend, it has been confirmed by the Pramac team. After dislocated his shoulder in a qualifying crash at Assen, the Italian has been forced to sit out both the Dutch TT and his home event at Mugello last Sunday.
Since Mugello, the 38-year-old from Bologna has engaged in intense fitness training in Monte Carlo but admits that – despite his comeback – he is yet to fully recover.
“I feel better, but my physical condition is still not acceptable,” he explains. “I'm doing daily physical therapy sessions at the medical centre IM2S of Monaco.
“I have already missed two races, but Mugello the most important for me. I want to ride my bike (again) as soon as possible.”
