Stoner: We’re trying to win at Motegi
Casey Stoner has reiterated that he will not be approaching the Japanese MotoGP with a defensive mentality, as the championship leader hopes to win once again.
“As in Aragón, we will be going out there trying to win and not only looking for valuable championship points,” the Honda rider commented on Tuesday. “We had a fantastic race here last year, probably one of my best in my opinion, and it will be fun to go there on the Honda and see how the bike works around the circuit.”
The Australian’s current lead is 44 points over reigning Champion Jorge Lorenzo.
