Stoner usually invincible at home, Lorenzo admits

11 October 2011

Jorge Lorenzo has admitted that his 2011 title hopes are not likely to take a positive turn at the Australian MotoGP this weekend. The reigning Champion sits 40 points behind the 2007 winner with three Grands Prix remaining.

“I am now heading to Australia after a few days of training in Indonesia,” explains Yamaha’s Lorenzo. “I’m looking forward to riding at Phillip Island, one of my favourite circuits and probably the most beautiful track we race on.

“After the race in Japan, where we had a positive result, we are really determined to be on the podium again. We know it's not going to be easy, because Casey is usually invincible on his home track, but I will try my best and won’t give up!”
