Capirossi excited about Phillip Island return
13 October 2011 – Loris Capirossi will be back in action at this weekend’s Australian MotoGP, having dislocated his right shoulder by crashing at Aragón. The Italian now has three races remaining before retiring from the sport.
“I'm happy to be back at this circuit, I'm very close to the Phillip Island,” the Pramac rider comments. “In the past I've won there three times and earned many podium finishes. I'll be back there for the last time so I hope to do well, even though my shoulder still causes many problems, despite the medical care made in recent days.”
Capirossi currently sits 17th in the title race with just 29 points to his name.
