Moto2 and Moto3 teams confirmed for 2012

Following meetings held in Motegi and Phillip Island, 20 teams have been accepted to participate in the new Moto3 class for 2012 and 20 teams for the Moto2 class, subject to final confirmation.

The Selection Committee comprising delegates from FIM, IRTA and Dorna held meetings at the Japanese and Australian Grand Prix to further consider applications from teams to participate in the Moto3 and Moto2 classes of MotoGP in 2012.

Subject to final confirmation of the contracted riders the following teams were accepted:

A final selection meeting will be held at the Valencia GP, after which a final list of teams and riders accepted will be published.
