De Puniet tests for Suzuki in Valencia

Following his departure from Pramac, Randy de Puniet is testing for Suzuki at the post-race MotoGP session in Valencia on Tuesday.

The Frenchman will join the Rizla squad for an afternoon of running at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, carrying out a shakedown and comparison test in order to compare the performance of the GSV-R from the perspective of a different rider.

This season, Suzuki ran a one-man team for Álvaro Bautista, with the exception of John Hopkins’ one-off performances. The squad hopes to field two bikes in 2012.
