2012 Dutch MotoGP Grand Prix: Saturday race results

Despite moving level on points with title rival Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner has stated how he doesn't want to win points from the misfortune of other riders, after Lorenzo was involved in a first corner incident with Alvaro Bautista.

The Australian wrote on his Twitter account. "I feel sorry for (Lorenzo) he doesn't deserve that to happen and I don't want points that way."

Lorenzo's incident meant Stoner scored the maximum number of points over his championship rival in the Dutch Grand Prix at Assen.

After making a shock retirement announcement earlier in the year, Stoner will be hoping to finish his career in style by winning the MotoGP championship for the second year in a row.
