The Gresini Honda satellite team will take on a new image for the 2013 MotoGP season. Having now ended its association with San Carlo, the Italian outfit has linked up with Go & Fun Green Energy for its MotoGP and Moto3 programmes.
Not only will the company’s logos be seen on-track, in the garage and on racing leathers, but the energy drink will also be provided to riders and team staff.
“I am proud to be able to announce our main sponsor for the next three seasons,” confirms Team Principal Fausto Gresini. “I think we can create something special together…we are on the verge of an exciting new era in MotoGP and Moto3, so to have such a major new partner believing in our team is extremely important for us.”
In Valencia on Sunday, Álvaro Bautista just missed out on a podium finish after he was passed by Casey Stoner. The Spaniard proceeded to register the best lap time as winter testing got underway at the Ricardo Tormo circuit on Tuesday morning.
